When clicking the save button, it does nothing. Adding a new account works fine. This is running on the same server as 5.02 which did not have this problem. When I click the button, it moves but doesn't do anything. I tried this on Firefox and IE.
Sorry everyone. After waiting so long for this release, it's ridiculous that such a simple thing that was working before, doesn't work now. As I mentioned before, this kills it for me. Now I need to find something else.

I had a similar problem with adding a new user and also if I tried to update the admin or standarduser accountss the ended up loosing all the information.............
I realised that I was using PHP 5.2 which is not supported .
I downgraded to PHP 5.1.6 and everything was OK.
I also tried on PHP 4 and got similar errors.
So try and check the versions of your LAMP / WAMP stack.
I had a problem with WAMP server. I tried to download a slightly back level release which said it had PHP 5.1.6... but it still installed with 5.2 which was was what caused the problem.

I have the same problem. When I hit the save button I get a blank page with the adress in the adress-field points only to the index-file. When I look at the source of the page it is blank.
My webhotel runs
php 4.4.7
apache 1.3.37 (Unix)
mysql 4.1.15
I've tried it in FF and IE

Hi, Saerimner, Godber
I think that you will find it is caused by the use of PHP 4.4.7.
I know the release documentation says you need PHP 5 but not PHP 5.2 or above. I had these problems until I loaded a supported PHP 5.1.6 release.
Also apache 1.3.37 is not supported. Check the requirements below which is an extract from the release documentation. Cheers.
Software Requirements
Apache: v 2.0.40 and above
MySQL: v 4.1.x – v 5.1.x
PHP: v 5.0.x – v 5.1.x
Important Note
Officially we are not supporting PHP 5.2.x. As a workaround, we suggest our community to follow the instructuctions available in vtiger Wiki site for using PHP 5.2.x for your deployment. See: vtiger CRM on PHP 5.2.x

I am using the standard Apache, PHP and MySQL in Ubuntu 6.06LTS:
Apache 2.0.55-4ubuntu2.1
PHP 5.1.2-1ubuntu3.7
MySQL 5.0.22-0ubuntu6.06.3
For me, this was after applying today's patch3 to a 5.0.2 system.
Actually, I just restarted apache and logged my admin user out then back in and it seems to work now. Thanks for the feedback.
