Hi there, thank you for your great work,

i´ve waited for this version because of many things, but the most important for me is the invoice number sequencial.

I downloaded the vtiger 5.0.3 code and put the folder in my wamp server on windows vista. opened firefox 2.0.3 and link to the localhost vtigercrm and configured all things, and it installed 100% ok.

now the problem is when i open vtiger and put my admin user and password, click ok and appear this error:

catchable fatal error: Object of class Users could not be converted to string in CommonUtils include file on line 36

Why this happened?

how can i resolve this?

there are more problems in every module like sales, quotes it all says that object of class SalesOrder(or other module) could not be converted to string in ...

Got the same Error just after clicking "next" after installation.

My guess is that you are running php 5.2 (which i recall was printed with red letters NOT COMPATIBLE during setup)

Am I right?

Using a test environment to setup here, and i just found out it is PHP 5.2. - SO - back to drawingboard on a PHP 5.1 environment for new installation

Hi. Did you have to download the WAMP separately to install in Vista? Or did the one that comes with Vtiger install do it? I tried but the installation stops part way and comes out saying path not found.

Hello,
Could you please check the PHP Version. vtigerCRM 5.0.3 will have issues in PHP version 5.2 and Higher.Currently we are not supporting PHP Version 5.2

I have installed WAMP 1.6.5 with PHP 5.1.6, Apache 2.0.59, MySQL 5.0.24a and phpmyadmin 2.8.2.4.

So this may not be the problem. The installation starts and then quits at 35% with a path error.

I've got the same probleme the error message is :

Component Transfer Error
Component : Program Files
File Group : Program Executable Files
Error : The system cannot find the path specified

I think it's a problem with vista...

I find the solution !! :lol:
I installed easyphp bring up my mysql and apache server, and i create a new apache alias with the source of vtiger and it's working.

I've got mistake during the database creation. Easyphp is not compatible... :?
