Thank you for your valuable feedbacks. I published new manuals for the vtiger CRM version 5.0.3. This manual includes the description of the new functions and some other improvements:
- many chapters have been rewritten to make the functions more clear to the average user
- special attention has been spent on explaining the sales process as supported by the CRM
- vtigerForge reference included
- pdf optimized for printing
(Note that the new functions are not highlighted, this will be done in the relase notes once the v5.0.3 comes out.)
Please note also the new document numbers and the entries at the changelog of the documents.
There are several versions available:
In English:
- HTML Version: for all who want to browse it only
- HTML/ZIP Version: download the HTML version
- MS Help: download as Windows Help file
- PDF: Download an extended version with more examples for security settings and a FAQ section
These versions are available at our vtiger manual site at: http://www.vtiger-deutschland.de/vtigerdocu.html
In German:
There is also a new extended PDF version for v5.0.3 in German available.
The German version of the manual can be downloaded at the German vtiger community site at: http://www.vtiger-hilfe.de
I encourage everyone to continue to provide feedbacks to the email address mentioned in the manual. Please report any inaccuracies, misleading statements or typos you may find.
The "old" manuals for v5.0.1.+v5.0.2 will not be longer supported. The manual for version 4.2.x is still available. |

| For those of us who paid for the extended, is the new version available on Lulu for download as a no charge upgrade or ? |

correct, no charge. Also the html, zip and winhelp files are ready for download. Nevertheless the small contribution helps me to keep the manual project actual. Its a lot of work. |

| A new English revision for v5.0.3 has been published today. Thank you for the feedbacks and hints for improvements. This revision includes a language review and some more detailed descriptions of functions which were not covered enough in the previouse version. |
