I think it would be a good idea down the road to incorporate a sales rating tools and it could work something like this. A point system would be established for certain activities like entering a call-back, email follow-up, entering notes on leads, contacts and accounts, closing sales/quotes, post-sales follow-up, etc. I think a point system is better than an algorithm to come up with a rating number because it would be easier to adjust and once a company used the vtiger point for awhile they can see what ratings for sales people very quickly...it basically would relieve much of the need to analyze the reports.

Also if a GUI front-end were setup it would be very easy for vtiger admin's to adjust point values so if a certain company valued email follow-ups more or than sales closing rates they could adjust it accordingly making this a flexible and powerful addition to vtiger.
