|
|
Has anyone modified the webforms for creating Leads & Contacts to assign to a group instead of a user?
We've been passing assigned_user_id and custom fields through the form, but now would like to assign the new Lead to a 'Group' instead of a user.
Is this documented somewhere? |

I'm running 5.0.3 and contactserialize.php doesn't exist in my case.
I can code the webform to assign to a specific user, but I need to be able to assign to a group instead.
Thanks |

I'd just like to add my vote for this to be addressed. I think it's important to be able to asign new contacts to a group instead of the Admin.
Most IT people would probably only log into a CRM if there was a problem with the system, so the "Admin" would never know a new contact was created and therefor never pass it on to the sales team...
I would much rather be able to automaticaly assign new contacts to our sales group.
Cheers,
