Hello katie82640,
there is not any restriction for count of entries.
Comments about trouble over 500, are located to import.
Is recommended import smaller entries batch then some robust import.
This thread can clarify it:
http://forums.vtiger.com/viewtopic.php?p=33813#33813
But nobody know what happens after import milions entities...
Can you explain in more detail what do you mean with "opportunity to sort and build groups from the database" ?
Do you mean user groups, contact atc groups, views, report groups, or ... ?
Thanks & Regards

Thanks LN - that helps.
User groups - I mean groups of potential customers. To be sorted out by SIC code or zip code.
We have alot of unemployed tech's in Toledo. I started a project with my company - onsite per call service - hoping that would help a little. I'm having a hard time prospecting using the microsoft SBA app. Very hard.
I need to be able to sort out a type of business, (bought a database, have the data) then drill down to size and geographical location. |

Hi,
this is possible do with Custom Views.
Just Choose Columns (e.g. SIC) wich do you want use for sorting.
This method works for Custom Fields also.
Thanks & Regards
