How do I set up webforms? Also, if there is no password, what stops others from creating leads from their website? Also, I installed and its not working - how are these meant to be set up? There are lots of customization posts, I need help to get a lead loaded - nothing so far - just the "Home" link after submitting.
Thanks

| Fixed - so far - a good thing to start with is to remove the .htaccess file that is blocking the public from the website - as well as webforms from working correctly. - Doh!! |

Ok, got it working. Tweaking the form now.
Steps to install - just as in the install guide -
1. In config.php set the url to where vtiger is installed - same url used to access it - if its blocked with a .htaccess login/password, I disabled this to make it work.
If your vitger install is at http://domain.com/CRM
then use: http://domain.com/CRM - Mine is on a shared host, this was working. No port specified, no trailing slash.
2. The 'thank you for your.... " message is in <vtiger install dir>/soap/webforms.php - look for words from the message for Lead/Contact and change to what you like.
3. Scour these forums for other tips to customize forms. |
