Hi,

We have started the validation phase for 5.0.3 and our core team is testing the product for any critical bugs.
Before going in for public release after validation, we want our community developers to test the product and give us the feedback of any critical issue.

We have hosted the 5.0.3 (test) build in http://en.vtiger.com/wip/

Do post your feedback in http://vtiger.fosslabs.com/cgi-bin/trac.cgi/newticket under "Version" 5.0.3-dev

We have tagged the source in fosslabs the source can be checked out from

1) Migration script for migration from other versions and patch zip for existing users 5.x will be sent latter.

We have fixed closed to 100+ bugs in this version the top list among them are given below.

Top Bug fixes list:
1) Ajax Edit not working in IE
2) Tag Cloud not woriking in IE
3) Shared public activity will be shown in user view
4) In Invoice and Orders, Products that are assigned disappears while using ajax edit in detail view.
5) Status column for events in Reports shows "-"
6) Group name missing in change owner popup of calendar listview
7) Possible to view the details of other users by an non-admin user.
8 ) i18N support for custom fields during custom view creation.
9) Relevant contacts will be shown for particular Account / Potential
10) Quote created from an Account, it displays all the Potentials for all Companies - whereas it should be filtered only for specific Account.
11) Custom Field labels with spaces does not display in Advance Search fields.
12) Text Display problem in description field

Good afternoon India Guys,
Playing the 5.0.2 demo I saw the demo 5.0.3 available.

I have no rights to make a ticket on the wiki so I made two tickets in the demo. No critical problems probably.

The tickets are assigned to Mary Smith and tagged: ben

Hope it works for you, otherwise I will collect my findings and post them on the froum smewhere.

Hi all together,

I took the invittion to test 5.0.3. because I was reporting a lot here but didn't get access to your ticket system.

Critical problems I descovered:

A) Leads - Can't compose an email at any place such a link is provided desite there is a entry for the email ID. I'm getting a error called "... doesn't have an emailid". Please take a closer look.

B) Take a look at the "Quotes module". There are money values shown like :shock: 1.2170252699999997 :shock: which is absolutly unacceptable. 2 characters after the Komma is good enough for most of us. Suggestion leave this to admin's for a config on demand. The quote shown such things is having no. 155. Please check this in all modules like quotes, sales orders, invoices, purchase orders etc. !!!!!!

By the way , is there any possibility to setup my own start value for counting order numbers ( quotes, contracts ), delivery notes, invoices ( incl. proforma invoices ), credit notes, and payment reminders ? :? OK, I know it's not all available there but will surely become necessary for a future sales automation. They all need an individual counting cycle. It seems to me it's just one for any document created with the existing sales stages.

C) It's not critical - but it looks absolutly unprofessional - the pdf files created by vTiger system, no matter whether it's a quote, a sales order or a invoice are concerned. If you like I do a far more easier layout for you considering 99% of all commercial issues in this regard.

I agree that the appears of the pdf needs to be changed dramatically.

Hi All!

Can I suggest to you to use TCPDF library (http://www.tecnick.com/public/code/cp_dpage.php?aiocp_dp=tcpdf) since it works OK with UTF-8 and the one that you are using now is not working with UTF-8, which is important for non-English languages.

May be an issue in reporting:

Created account called My Test Account
Created 3 tickets for My Test Account
Created new report in Trouble Tickets Reports with advanced filter "Related to" "equals" "My Test Account"

report returns "no filter selected"

I was expecting a report showing the three tickets for "My Test Account"

Is this an error or is the method wrong?

Hi, I´ve changed a quote subject. it didn´t got reflected in quotes history.

Changin headers in quotes pdf breaks the design even if using same amount of char or just to test changin the order of char
