Hi,

We are happy to bring out yet another release of vtiger CRM, with much more capabilities, interesting code contributions and whole lot of Bug fixes.

We thank all our developers for their feedback and code contribution. Though it was not possible to accomodate all feedbacks and contributions in this release, we assure that we will add it in our future releases.

Please be informed that there is no database changes between 5.0.0 and 5.0.1 hence no data migration involved. :)

vtiger CRM 5.0.1 can be downloaded from the following url

Is this available on the svn server ?

It says that's at revision 9622, but doesn't seem to have the patches.

Could you clarify if you use the svn as a development tool or if this is something that is updated once in a while ?

Philip, I went trough the release note. I think there is room for improvements. ;-)

First, the title of the relasenotes.html is still "vtiger CRM 5 Beta: Release Notes". The vtigerversion.php says that this version 5.0.0

You wrote about "much more capabilities, interesting code contributions and whole lot of Bug fixes." At the relase notes there is no explanation of what has been done. There is just one single word about the new features. I can look up the closed tickets at the bug tracker myself but you are giving away a great opportunity to highlight all the great work vtiger has done.

Svn updated.

So it seems that the svn public server is updated later than the patch releases. Would it be possible to change that ?

It would be easier to submit patches that are online with the real trunk branch for instance.

Can anyone tell me why the import scripts have commented out the code that joins address lines 1 through 4 together?

As best practise, how are people meant to import data they have with multiple address lines ?

Install 5.0.0.1 but now i can't make a export PDF have you the same problem?
In campaign i can't edit more 2 campaigns in list .

Hello, no, i have not same problem. I can generate PDFs So your problem is in wamp-lamp side or server config .

I have another problems ... ;) ...

Philip, now I went trough the bug list to find out what issues have been fixed. (since these information are missing at the release notes) Now I am confused. At the bug tracker there are some open tickets marked with 5.0.1. If they are fixed they deserve to be closed. If they are not fixed than they should not be marked with version 5.0.1. How can anybody find out what the release 5.0.1 really does?
