I published new manuals for version 5.0.0. There are several versions available:

In English:
- HTML Version: for all who want to browse it only
- HTML/ZIP Version: download the HTML version
- MS Help: download as Windows Help file
- PDF: Download an extended version with more examples for security settings and a FAQ section

These versions are available at our vtiger manual site at: http://www.vtiger-deutschland.de/vtigerdocu.html

In German:
There is a extended PDF version in German available that is related to the language files I posted at vtigerforge recently.

This version can be downloaded at the German vtiger community site at: http://www.vtiger-hilfe.de

I encourage everyone to provide a feedback to the email address mentioned in the manual. It has been a major task to find out how everything works and to write it down. Please report any inaccuracies, misleading statements or typos you may find.

Hello, it's possible say me what is importance on UI / fileld function "Reports to" ?

in manual is:
"Here you may chose the name of supervisor if the contact has been entered already."

Its only link to another entity like "Member of" in account module … , or it‘s field with some special continuous.

Lukas, the "Reports To" at contacts allows you to link a contact with another contact already in the system. (eg the supervisor) This field is for information only. There is currently no special function involved.

In the last couple of days my personal mailbox gets full with questions about functionalities. I appreciate the confidence but the number of email requests is higher than the number I can answer in the time I have available.

Please note the new document numbers and the entries at the changelog of the documents.

i have purchase full pdf manuals from you (v4x, 5x).

Its great, but i want to ask you if is possible somewhere get only update from v5.x Manual as PDF (extended version) v5.0.0 to v5.x Manual as PDF (extended version) v5.0.1... ?

I hope through you understand what i mean ...

When you have purchased the extended version before, just login into your Lulu account and download the new version. You do not have to pay for it since it is only an update (same document name).
